*I am not someone who typically leaves a review but it’s imperative I warn future guests. -Booked the King Superior room for a valentines day staycation during pandemic. -Called ahead of time, excited by the bathtub in the room and wanted to confirm. -Told by customer support that we needed to call day of or day before to see if they can accommodate since some rooms were shower and some baths. They couldn’t guarantee this far in advance. -Called the morning of, told that a bath was never an option, the king superior doesn’t come with bath and only corner rooms have baths. Told that because we booked with Expedia that’s why there was an issue (if this is a known issue, perhaps they should fix this partnership?). -Decided to still make the best out of our stay. Showed up, place smelled like alcohol and smoke. -Elevator full of dirty laundry when we went up to the room. -Room was TINY, dirty, side tables chipped, bathroom tiny with dirt all over the floor, shower is cement… -Literally checked in and checked out within 20 minutes. -Not sexy (the photos look sexy), not romantic, not clean at the bare minimum – left feeling completely duped. Wish I took photos to show side by side what you get versus what this looks like in the photos. Spend the extra $100-200 and get the better hotel.

I’ve been using the Google option stating that I’ve never been to this place. It cld’ve Google’d it or just walked by this place. Anyway I gv it 5 stars. I hope Google is monitoring this post.

I brought my son and his friends for their high school graduation trip. We had a great time. Everyone at the hotel we encountered was courteous. We felt safe. Our rooms were always clean. Can’t wait to return!

Highly recommended hotel! I was so happy that I got the chance to stay at your hotel for three days. I really like the place because it was so elegant and relaxing. I can say that it was designed by one of the best designers. I didn’t regret my decision to choose your hotel. Bravo to all of you! Highly recommended!

Staff definitely went above and beyond. The location is amazing as well. Everything was very clean. Having the option for the grab and go breakfast was nice. We could grab our breakfast bags and have something quick to eat before we enjoyed our busy days. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you for helping make our mother daughter trip so memorable!

Very small and quaint hotel/room. Lobby was clean and smelled great! First night was awesome! However, second night is where things took a turn. My husband and I had just returned from our dinner date, not even 5 minutes inside our room when we were interrupted from our conversation with loud banging on the wall from the room next door. We ignored it, then 2 minutes later we heard banging on the door (loud banging!) we were confused and before opening the door I asked my husband “is that an employee?” The person on the other side of the door responded with an attitude and rude, “Yes is it!” … so we opened the door and without hesitation she immediately threatened us to “evict us” out of the room because there was a noise complaint made. To begin with, she was RUDE and had a very mean and unwelcome attitude. Secondly, we weren’t warned or notified about a noise complaint prior to be threatened with “eviction”. My husband and I were so confused as to what noise were they referring to, the TV was off, no music was playing, we simply were carrying on a conversation and like I stated earlier, we had just walked in the room. That encounter completely ruined my experience and I was glad to leave that place immediately after I stay. We paid a lot of money just like any other customer, yet they made us feel less than by threatening us to evict us in the middle of the night without an initial warning, definitely WILL NOT stay at this location ever! I understand that noise complaints are made, however, the employee did not give us a chance to rectify the noise HAD THERE BEEN ANY, she led off with “eviction” right away. Her approach to the situation was uncalled for, we never received a “warning” or multiple complaints prior to her banging on our door like she was the police!

Very nice small hotel. Rooms were sufficiently sized and very clean. Hotel staff was attentive and friendly. The location in Tribeca is great. I would definitely stay here again.

A little difficult to get to if you don’t know your way around. Nice little area close to wall st. Rooms are nice. Hallways are small and only enough for one person at a time to walk through. Employees are very nice and as helpful as possible.

The ad was very misleading but Sadiq was 🏆wonderful. He made my stay very welcoming. His very bubbly personality was so inviting. He made us feel like we had the best room in the hotel. Being though we were in New York for a family member illness, he made us feel right at home. He gave us great restaurant idea as well as directions to various locations. It was an honor to meet such a very nice person. 😊The James’ from Baltimore

This is the best hotel I have ever been to. Everything about this hotel is applauded. The check-in process was done in a couple of minutes without any hassle. My questions were entertained with respect to their staff to my full satisfaction. The location of the hotel is very accessible as well. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

While the room was clean, the service was very poor. When I asked for housekeeping i was informed that they would not provide housekeeping for someone who was only staying for 3 days. At breakfast, offerings were extremely poor and there was never enough. The man in the dining area would stock 2 yogurts at a time or sometimes there would be none. I have never seen such a poor selection of items and such a small quantity. By delaying they were denying. Most of the guests walked away without much since he wouldn’t restock until asked. When asked for water bottle, they gave 1 for 2 guests. Truly poor, i wouldn’t stay there again.

EDIT: Juliana, the operations manager, reached out with an apology and offered to partially compensate us for the first night that they didn’t have a room for us. I bumped up my rating to a 3-star for offering some restitution. I would have given this hotel a much higher rating for the location and comfort of the room if we hadn’t had such a terrible experience checking in. When we first arrived we were told that they didn’t have a room for us since a pipe had burst. I get it, things happen. But the lack of courtesy of not even calling us so we could make other plans for the night was (to put it mildly) frustrating. We were given the option of canceling our entire 3 night reservation or being put up at the Sheraton next door- a downgrade from a 4-star hotel to a 3-star hotel. The man at the front desk did not seem to appreciate the inconvenience or even care. When I said it would have been nice to have been told of the issue ahead of time, he said “I know” and brushed off why we were upset in the handling of it all. The next morning we made sure to come over early and see if there would be a room available for us the next 2 nights. A different young man was at the front who was very kind and understanding- he even had a bottle of wine and a box of chocolates put in the room for us after hearing about what happened the night before. Besides the check-in experience, the hotel room was spacious and updated. Given that it was a 4-star hotel, we thought it was odd that they didn’t have any silverware or glassware available. Despite having a fully stocked mini fridge in the room, they only had paper cups to use so we had to buy glasses from the attached restaurant. If I could erase our experience with hotel staff the first night, I would happily stay here again. Unfortunately, I’m just left with a sour taste from the worst customer service I’ve experienced from a hotel. (Review cross posted on Airbnb where reservation was made)

UNIQUE, CLEAN and FRIENDLY place. The room a bit small but has high ceiling so it is beautiful. The one thing that I didn’t like about was the scent. The hotel has strong scent everywhere. Other than the scent, everything was great. 👍🏻👍🏻

The hotel is in a really convenient location for traveling through all of Manhattan. Very close to Canal Street subway and to many incredible places in Chinatown. Also only about a 10 minute walk or 3-5 minute drive to the Brooklyn Bridge. The hotel staff is extremely generous and is very accommodating to all of your needs. The rooms are clean and comfortable with beautiful views of the city. Absolutely would recommend to anyone who asks about staying downtown!

The staff are the most friendly and accommodating, that you’ll ever find. Our room was very comfortable but we were disappointed that it didn’t have a microwave. You have to have someone unlock the a/c /heat control device so you can change the settings. Would have preferred more amenities but you are right in Chinatown and a few blocks away from Little Italy, so you can make do. We were here for dorm move in and really enjoyed our stay.

Loved staying here, not like any other hotel I’ve ever been to. It’s just a fun place to be in a great part of town. Rooms are really cool, decked out in retro decor, including a record player which was awesome. Would absolutely come back.

Remember to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ .ᴄᴏᴍ when booking a stay. They compare hundreds of booking websites and normally will have prices much cheaper than others! You’re welcome :)! This resort is one of the most well known in the area. I have been coming here for a very long time. If you decide to stay here you definitely will love it I’m sure! This is classical spot to enjoy great mercantile food and listen to quality music. Great ambience and professional customer service.

This hotel is really good and recommended by me. The location is very central and close to where you can find several bars and restaurants. The total impression of the hotel is great. The entrance area is nice and comfortable with permanent fresh water for guests. The receptionists are friendly and helpful. There is no complain that I have about this hotel. I strongly recommend staying here!

Property is it in amazing location and the aesthetics of the hotel are very pleasing. During booking there was a issue with amenities listed on site that were no longer offered but it was brought to the properties attention and they dealt with the situation and a very positive and professional way. Definitely will be a return guess.

My room was absolutely filthy. I asked them to make my bed and all they did was put down a bottom sheet. My neighbors next-door were practically murdering each other and the front desk refused to give me a room change even though I felt highly uncomfortable. The room was not properly cleaned and since this hotel hosts COVID-19 first responders I expect the rooms to be clean very thoroughly. . One out of 10 would not recommend. Protect yourself and your friends and loved ones.

The place is absolutely great. The two beds are separated are in different rooms in one room! Crazy right. It had a kitchen, a sink, a stove, and it was really clean. There was also a viewing center on the 20th floor which was great. I highly recommend you come here!

Hospitality Lives!! Great stay! Front desk Angel Dawn took good care of us and switched us to the room we were promised when we booked 9 months earlier that overlooks ground zero. Awesome location and great view of the city. From our room you can even see the Hudson River. Thank You Dawn!!

He showed me different phones and talked specs… unfortunately the phone I wanted was not in stock but he helped me navigate headphones and some accessories for my future purchase. I went in to look around since I was in the neighborhood. They have a large variety of foods there. It’s a very large space. Everything was organized and clearly labeled. The workers were nice too!

This office opens at 7!!! M-F!!! (Google says 9am…) I walked in at 7:40am, walked out at 8:29am! I would say to have your paperwork filled out PRIOR to coming, this will allow you to ‘check in’ right away. The agent at booth 10 was super nice and so fast at processing my name change application. Get there early, you won’t regret it!

Okay so let’s start with the bad-they have 40 booths/windows,BUT only 2 we’re occupied!!! I don’t know what’s going on are they missing 38 employees or what??? So you can imagine the lines we had. It took me over a month to get my appointment and I expected more… The guards at the entrance to the 3rd floor were so nice and kind with great temperament! Kudos to them!! If it wasn’t for them the place would have gotten 1 star. The restroom in the place has only one toilet it was Ok.

Inappropriate and unprofessional management staff here at Equinox Tribeca, specifically the GM. Lacked professionalism on all accounts through our conversation… I once was a loyal customer, now have canceled and will take business elsewhere. HIGHLY discourage signing membership at this gym.

Gave me a ticket for no stopping or standing, even though the sign permits it during Sunday’s. Went to go see if any other car had it on their shield, turns out I was the only one. The whole block, on both sides, had no tickets. I wonder why, specifically my car with a Palestinian flag, was targeted. Isn’t that weird. Hmmm🤔 Looks the cops are good for one thing, and one thing only: clicking their pens.
