This park has basketball, football and soccer fields. Also two kids parks in two different areas. It has a nursery. It also has picnic area near nursery. If you take a walk or run, you can find few deers roaming around. Mostly those are shy but don’t try to go closure to them.

Park is evolving in the opposite direction from when it was originally designed. Most of the areas are becoming forest again. Instead of planting pine trees, I think fruit trees will be serving us better. In other words, we just wasted the Gwinnett County residents money allowing the development to return to forest

George Pierce is on our rotation for long walks. We combine paths from George Pierce with the Suwanee Greenway to get about 5 miles in. In George Pierce, the paths are mostly paved with some boardwalk over a swampy area with a small lake. Before it became so busy, we use to be able to see deer – now not so much. The paths have a lot of shade making this a nice destination in hot summer months.

Has some very scenic wetlands boardwalks. It’s certainly not something I expected to see in the middle of Gwinnett County.

A scenic boardwalk isn’t the only thing this park has going for it, though. This place also has the usual park stuff such as a community center, baseball fields, football fields and basketball courts. It’s also really close to downtown Suwanee.

This Sims Lake Park located near Suwanee is most popular among the people in the area thanks to the lake, play area for children, and the walking trails. They park authorities have posted signs here and there about about wildlife and steep terrain. It feels cozy to stand on the shelter built on the lake. The trail is said to be open throughout the year.

We had our fall photoshoot here, a nice park with a fountain lake and also play area for kids. Fall foliage is not much, but whatever that are present, their reflection can be seen on water and it really enhanced the beauty of our photographs. A nice place to spend with kids during weekend, a great picnic spot for families

Very calm and peaceful place. Decent playground for very young kids. Great if you want to take a stroll or just sit and relax by the lake.

Played the Disc golf course here.
A challenging course, in that it requires a level of finesse. I played along with my 19 year old and twins, who can both out drive me; and yet I still came out on top. Accurately navigating the trees is more important than distance.

I have never had a unpleasant word from anyone at this park. I like to read there and walk threw the planters and look at the plants. Think about my own garden.

Beautiful scenery and tranquil park. It is family oriented and many events are held here monthly. The restaurants are thriving and people are out enjoying the park. They have added tables and chairs for others to eat in the park too.

Great playground with plenty of room, even during COVID times. Large variety of play for kids of all ages. Being within walking distance of Suwanee Square is a huge plus. Some parts of the playground are showing their age, but still functional.

Classic wooden castellated playground. Nestled peacefully in a wooded area with plenty of shade. Trains can be seen from a comfortable distance without noisy interruption. The whole playground is surrounded by fencing for safety and ease of mind as the young ones play.

All the fun of a wooden castle play set; rock walls, slides, swings, towers, crawl spaces, bridges and more.

Really like how far the main road is from the playground (for safety purposes) and the spacious parking lot dividing the playground from the trails and the tennis courts. You can bike or walk the trail, really nice views, great clean up crew too, really like the staff and how they give their space while working. Very clean and safe place to take your kiddos!

Great place to bring the kids! Seasonal splashpad and HUGE playground (big and little kids. The thing I love most is that it is fully fenced except next to parking so kids stay contained. A huge pavilion and extra picnic tables. Plus easily accessible bathrooms in direct view of the playground. Plus the grassy field is great for running/playing. Definitely our favorite park in the area for kids.

First time bien there and I found it really good special for the kids, they can run and play, it’s good to see others parents enjoy that park, I believe we need more places like this, even if is cold parents and kids enjoy run and play
