This place is absolutely breathtaking! I went on a nice long walk here today and got to admire some of the beautiful beaches and also walk on the beach along the water! A nice calm area and it was not too busy. I would definitely recommend coming here if you’re looking for a quite little place to take a stroll!

Cold Spring Harbor Library is breathtaking. This is the Library dreams are made of. The views from the veranda are spectacular, the reading room feels like home, and the tranquility of the entire building prompts me to continue as a frequent visitor.

This library is well maintained and comfortable, most of the staff are friendly and helpful. However there is a short, white 50+ aged woman, with dark hair who works during the morning session. This woman is verbally combative with some of the clients and appears to have low, if any diplomatic skills. Perhaps she can read one of the self improvement books that the library offers and maybe enroll in a meditation class.

3 stars for great music and great drinks But the food was very low quality. The duck was disgusting. Not once did the waiters asked if we enjoyed the food. Sad service for the price. It’s like about $40 an entree. But music was great and the drinks were great. Would probably come back for just that!

Excellent food. Staff went out of their way to accommodate making the previous nights specials that we were excited to try. Friendly service, PERFECTLY cooked halibut and swordfish. Apps of figs and watermelon feta also delicious. Will return.

I went here with my boyfriend for our anniversary, it was nice but not great. They had amazing drinks, they definitely didn’t skimp you with their cocktails. Their food was good as well but i don’t think it was worth the price. We went here to see a live jazz band but we couldn’t really hear them and we didn’t get the view we were promised. I would go back but just for the cocktails.

I love this hike! Although not far from the road, a totally “woodsy” feel. A late afternoon sun peaking through the trees adds to the scenery. There are steep ups and downs so would not do this hike if you are unfit. It’s an excellent cardio workout. Recommend the following: Wear good hiking shoes, not sneakers ;if you are alone, don’t get distracted by listening to music-pay attention. there are many steps and roots; use walking sticks (virtually no-one had them): the knees bear all the body weight and can be strained by significant up hills and downhills. Highly recommended!

Great place for Trail Runs and Mountain Biking Enthusiasts with out having to go to deep out into Suffolk County. Lots of winding turns and single track, and some decent rolling hills. Just be careful the hills can get a bit sandy. Check out #Race Awesome for competitive running and biking events here through the year.

Great place to go mountain biking. The main loop offers small challenges for the youngest due to roots and the trail having loose materials in some spots and not flat in others. Moving up there are more difficult trails that the older kids can ride and trails rated most difficult for the adults. Good hiking in spots as well and never had trouble finding parking. Up side is the bathrooms seem to stay open year round.

Go!!! So much of our country’s history evolved from fishing. The adventurous soles who braved danger in exchange for opportunity inspired how bold and ambitious Americans are. This place is a real treat.

I came here as a kid and returned recently. They have a small aquarium and a few pools to observe turtles and trout. $4 per pound of trout food, to feed them, and a small area to walk by a pond. It’s a quaint place but a good place to spend an hour or so just watching the fish.

I had the fabulous Sonia Kellogg build me the dollhouse of my dreams. It is not for me though. It is my Christmas gift to my 3 grandchildren. Well it truly is stunning! Everything I could have ever wanted. Now to see if the kids would like this incredible house. They received iPhones, chrome book, iPod touch. How would this all play out? Well I am so overjoyed that when they get to my house they drop all electronics and run to the dollhouse! They play together, they decorate, , they are just so adorable. Thank you Sonja for bringing back a gentler time. Your artwork is spectacular!

This is a very adorable place. It has a lovely outside to sit with friends. The price is a little high but you are definitely paying for wonderful quality food and so many talented bakers add to the flavor of this place with unique pastries. The vegan chocolate muffin is my absolute addiction ❣️❣️❣️

Staff is super nice and very accommodating. I enjoy the little shop in this small little town. Nice place to grab a nice drink and a small dessert. It has outdoor seating, parking is okay.

This place is so cute and tempting! With an assortment of different goodies and coffee, Sweetie Pies has us all pandering, “what treat should I have today?” Or “wait, did I try their seasonal pumpkin crumb cake yet? No? Maybe I should go visit.” Any excuse you can think of just to try their variety of treats and coffee combinations. Come by, take your pick, stroll the gorgeous town or sit in their cute and cozy dine in area at any moment of your day.

I went their for a school trip Stem Academy @ Bartlett which is a middle school for a week and the staff were fun, amazing and helpful during our labs and they were really smart and educated. The labs were amazing and everything their. What’s cool is we basically took the footsteps of famous scientists their because were young learners and this can help build year’s on from now. It was a great experience. Thanks so much to Kyle and Erin for the help and help. When we messed up or didn’t understand anything they would help us. This was April 2-6. Thx for the great experience. I love this place and can’t wait to go their again.
