I personally have not stayed at the hotel. I was there to drop something at the front desk. On this occasion it was a beautiful summer evening. The grounds looked immaculate. There was music, nice furniture on lawn very cool vibe. I would have loved to have a cocktail on my visit.

My stay here was absolutely amazing. With everyone dealing with the pandemic, you wouldn’t know they were short staffed. The facilities was always clean, the grounds are well kept and the staff is extraordinary. I had the pleasure of being serviced by Vincinta in the lounge for breakfast, Francesca kept our room clean and comfortable, then Pascal was a phone call away for any additional assistance. Everyone was polite, caring and hospitable. If your looking for a place to stay that is a home away from home, make it Garden City Hotel. You will not regret it for you only deserve the best.

Really enjoyed staying at The Garden City Hotel! All of the staff from the doorman to front desk to the managers were all super nice and welcoming! Locations is wonderful with tons of great eateries within walking distance and a variety of beaches, outlooks, and destinations within 20-30 min drive The property is gorgeous from the clock tower, garden patio to the restaurants and all in between. Outside of The Salt Room there are signatures of Hugh Jackman, Slash, Lauren Hill, etc. who have frequented the venue. Everything is also kept very clean which is so important these days. Seeing they won a cleanliness award in the pandemic and still compile good reviews of this nature to date helped me decide to vacation here with my family. I will definitely be back to visit!

I know a lot of friends that went here. I personally don’t know much about their academics, but I can say their facilities are awesome. They have great outdoor football fields, as well as really nice indoor basketball courts with competitive games everytime I go.

James Curtis is right. The faculty members at this school are simply not dedicated, especially at the Office of Academic Services and Retention. They do their best to ignore student needs. They always tell you “There’s nothing we can do.”

I just transferred to Adelphi and so far my classes seem alright. I think this school would be better for commuters. Housing here is a complete joke. They are very controlling for subpar housing. My last school had way better housing and was not as strict. They apparently have hyper sensitive fire alarms for what reason? I have no idea because these rooms don’t look extremely nice to be that paranoid. A person can’t even do (blow dry/ straighten) his/her hair in his/her room. He/she would have to go to the communal bathroom for that (with doesn’t even guarantee the fire alarm not going off.) It’s ridiculous for the cost of this place. When attending a floor meeting, it felt as though you were being told everything you can’t do. It feels almost as a mistake for me coming here. I don’t know if I was just use to better housing at my last school (which felt as you were more at home), but some of these rules are pathetic. If I was a commuter then maybe this review would be better. Personally, I think living comfortably plays an important part in college life. (Most of this info I did not find out until coming here)

This is a bait and switch shop. I went there with my daughter to buy a car for her. When we got there we met a salesman. We worked out a price that was good for her. Then the next day when we went to pick up her new car. The salesman said we had to talk to the general manager. I already knew what was about to happen. I told my daughter when the try to raise the price. We’re going to get up and walk out. Sure enough no sooner than we we sat down. I’m sorry but the price we gave you and we set. Has to go up around $58.00 a month more. So I looked at my daughter. And we got up and started to walk out.he couldn’t believe we were leaving. And I simply said. Your a chop shop. And if I weren’t there with my daughter. They would have ripped her off even more. If I were you I’d stay clear of this scam business. Too bad I can’t go lower than one star.

My experience at Millennium Honda was pleasurable, friendly and professional. The staff is friendly and not pushy but informative. Mark Morel represents the five stars I gave as his customer service was great from beginning to end. Hector Garcia was my initial contact and he was professional and courteous.

I recently purchased a 2021 Honda Accord Touring 2.0T and am exceptionally pleased with the process from beginning to end. From my first telephone conversation with Manager Tom Kay, who very professionally addressed a concern I had, his referral to Rolando Alfonso, Sales Consultant and my final sit down with Mario Garcia, Finance Manager, the experience could not have been more pleasant and consumer friendly. Rolando went out of his way to provide a extended test-driving opportunity and explained all of the Touring options in clear terms. My wife and I decided on a particular color that was not currently in stock at Millennnium and Rolando assured us that he would locate a car at another dealer as expeditiously as possible. Rolando and the floor manager were receptive to negotiating a final price. Throughout the process, there was never any pressure to buy! We were delighted to hear from Rolando the next day that he located and picked up our car of choice. Final visit with Mario to confirm purchase was also quite pleasant with no pressure to buy additional insurance and warranties. Our Touring was ready as promised with the entire process completed from test drive to delivery in just four days. While I will probably be in touch with Rolando again to further explain the vehicles many advanced options, I can without hesitation recommend Millennium to anyone interested in purchasing a new Honda.

Excellent! At 9:AM on the dot they opened for business with all their staff at their desks or work stations. Everyone was helpful above and beyond…courteously offering help and assistance. I took care of DMV business which went smoothly. They put the actual DMV to shame.

Came in to get some Travel Books and spoke to Albert Kim (I believe that was his name). Very personable and helpful. One of the many reasons I prefer this AAA location. I would definitely see him for any of your travel needs or member service needs.

Best Toyota dealership in New York. If you’re looking for a new car, this is the place to go to. Jennifer and Sam took care of us and helped us with a great deal on a brand new 2022 Corolla. They treated us like family and all in all the experience was very enjoyable and stress-free. They took care of everything and tried their best to accommodate for our budget. Couldn’t be happier with the car and the customer experience.

When purchasing my car Jen my sales rep did a great job in helping me find the car I wanted & Sam in finance makes it work. He goes through everything and tries his best to get it where you can afford your car lease or full buy out.

I was treated like royalty. From the moment I drove in I was greeted by a group of friendly and courteous agents who took note of my concerns and directed me to where I should leave my vehicle. Chantal then came over to introduce herself and took over the process. She was beyond exceptional and did everything to ensure my visit was as pleasant and hassle-free as possible. She checked available warranties and ensuring I had the lowest cost and the most benefit. I was also impressed by the vehicle scanning technology that photographed my vehicle upon arrival and diagnosed an alignment problem which I was happy to address. Realizing I couldn’t wait for the vehicle, I set about arranging a ride home when Chantal introduced me to their shuttle service – which took me home and even came to get me when the work was done. And wouldn’t you know, even my driver was a shining example of great service. My check out experience was no less impressive. Chantal escorted me to receptionist, explained the charges and how to read the bill, and an equally pleasant cashier finished the job. I’ve been to many dealerships and can honestly say, I have never been this impressed with any as much as I am with Millennium Toyota. The atmosphere and efficiency with which your location functions should be a shining example for all others to follow. If I could score this visit on a scale from 1-10, you guys would easily score 10+++. Keep up the great work!

Created an account last week, entered my account number wrong but they let me purchase the stocks anyways, without putting me on margin so there was no interest! Then this week I got an unexpected call from a service representative to talk to me about my goals and strategies as well as tell me about everything they offer! Guy was great! His name was Bradly, so if you get him as well, congratulations 🎊 worth the few extra bucks per trade then some other platforms. EXTREMELY SATISFIED AND ITS ONLY BEEN A WEEK… probably because the market did well this week too lol

Edit: everything was completed and all is good. Updated to 5 stars. While I was more than pleased with the dealership, I am still waiting for the old lease on the car turned in from NMAC (Nissan) to Garden City Nissan to be terminated. I will be happy to revise this should the dealership finish terminating the old lease AND payments as promised.

I called on a Saturday before Labor Day and John was able to get my car serviced that Tuesday. I came in with some transmission issues. John was very helpful. He explained to me in full detail what work was done on my car. Nissan got my car in and out the same day! Definitely recommend Nissan of Garden City.

My Dad was in the care of Dr. Wain for a stent procedure, and I’m so grateful. He took amazing care of him, communicated with my mother often with updates, and explained everything to expect. When my dad spiked a fever late night, he came back from home to check in on him. He is incredible and Dad doing well!

This doctor is supposedly a vascular surgeon. Couldn’t help me at all. Spent more time filling out paperwork than the consult itself. I have edema and swelling in my legs, feet, ankles. Went to this doctor and he basically felt one leg he couldn’t even get his tiny hands around. He recommended I lose weight and get socks that help swelling. The weight does not cause edema, duh, skinny people have edema too, and the socks are impossible to get on and are not covered by insurance. Like he cares. This guy got annoyed that I asked a question or two. I asked him about the edema, if it was blood or water that was the swelling, he said, “I don’t know I am not a plumber.” Cute and wise-ass. I asked him about these water pills I was taking at the time if they caused the problem, and he says,” I have no opinion on that” ??? No opinion? I told him this condition came on overnight. He recommended no follow up visit, referrals to someone else, or tests. Can you believe that? Just, see you again when you feel. No kidding. Severe swelling and no test, not even an xray. I think he wanted nothing to do with a Medicaid patient and dismissed me because I was overweight. I would not recommend him to anybody.

Dr Wain did a surgery on me to correct an aneurysm . I can’t say enough about him and the way he conducts himself. A top surgeon in every respect. His entire staff is top notch.

Dined here for lunch with a group of 9 people, customer service was excellent from Jake (I believe was his name). The girl who took the reservation the few days before was very helpful on the phone and answered all my questions. I requested to order the food prior to arriving and they accommodated us very nicely since we only had our lunch hour to dine. I was extremely satisfied that the food came right out once we were seated and we enjoyed the delicious lunch combo options!

Overall, 4/5. Food was amazing. I won’t name the person who served us, but clearly he was juggling too many tables and kept forgetting items we ordered, including drinks and later admitted and apologized that he was “slow”.. besides this, great ambiance, indoor/outdoor seating and generally friendly staff. Must try the truffle pizza + spinach artichoke appetizer- salmon is amazing.

Went here with a bunch of friends on a Thursday night. The place had nice ambiance and the food was good, not great.. We enjoyed our wine and Port as well. However they were out of stock on a couple of the items that we asked for…so we thought that was odd. The Skirt Steak was tasty, but drown a little too much in the sauce it was served in. The salmon was delicious and cook perfectly. I thought the octopus was full of good flavors, however it could have been cooked a little less. I liked the burrata but didn’t think it needed the sweet potatoes. Our waitress Olivia was really nice and helpful. A great personality. Definitely a bright spot! Our major beef was with the manager who sat us down. We wanted to sit in a booth and not necessarily at a table. There were plenty open booths. However, he said that they were unavailable because they were reserved. Throughout the night there were open booths as you can see from the pictures that I took. We found it strange that there were so many booths available…..although “reserved “. In any event, I would give this place 3.5 Stars. Not sure if I will go back since there are so many other choices out there.

Stuart W. Moskowitz was one of my great finds on Long Island, for probate, sale of house and all the taxes that were involved. It was great to work with one person and knowing you do not have to go to a dozen other people. He was able to do everything that I needed done, all in the same office. I would say Stu is the best of the best.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Although not an attorney, I was the executor of my aunt’s sizable estate. Distribution among a large number of beneficiaries was complicated but Mr. Moskowitz skillfully lead me through the process while shielding me from liability, and guided me successfully through the probate process. Mr. Moskowitz is highly skilled, thoroughly professional, listens well, charges quite reasonable fees, and is a pleasure to work with. In the 2.5 years we worked together he never once missed a promised date and I find that amazing. I speak so highly of Mr. Moskowitz I feel compelled to state: We are not related! But he is my attorney of choice.

I would like to start with this used to be called “Winthrop Hospital” it changed in November 2020. My mother had to come in here for a valve replacement surgery. This hospital is about an hour away from my moms home so we were unfamiliar with the area. The hospital itself is surrounded by homes and is basically in a residential area so parking can be a challenge. If you are dropping someone off, picking someone up, or there to check in for your surgery you can pull up front and make your drop off / pick up or the Valet will park for surgeries. If you are visiting then you have to go to the other side of the hospital almost like you are pulling into the emergency room then they will direct you to the parking garage. There is also street parking with meters, however, they are very strict I was told and if you are late getting back to your car you will get a ticket. Because hospital times / stays etc are unpredictable I would suggest their garage. Security will validate the parking ticket for you if you have an extended stay person you are visiting. Or if you’re nice they might validate it anyway. I have been in plenty of hospitals throughout my life for various reasons and this was one of best. When you call – no matter where you call, the wing my mom was in, the ICU area looking for where my mom was moved to, to the main number looking for a patient – you speak with a professional, kind person. The nurses were also top notch. When they would come to take my moms blood they were so kind and sweet. They were right there whenever she needed something. From the person that greets you at the door, to the security, to the people who give you a the pass with your name on it, to the nurses and doctors Thank you for being so awesome, kind, caring, friendly, and going above and beyond! I have never been to a hospital where everyone appeared to enjoy their job and the people who they interact with. I would highly recommend this hospital and wished more hospitals would follow whatever guidelines NYU Langone Hospital has!

Cardiac unit nurses were so sweet to me while being pregnant and admitted there. I wish I wrote down more names but nurse Evelyn and Janice were so sweet. Nurse Evelyn went above and beyond to care for her patients. I thank them all for their hard work !! The high risk team, hematologist team, obgyn team and overall doctors and care really made sure I was discharged healthier. Again, very thankful.

Wonderful experience! Best care. Clean. Yes it’s small compared to others like Northshore or NY Presbyterian but that’s the charm. It’s a teaching hospital so the care is that much more. Great place. Excellent doctors and medical staff. Highly recommend Winthrop.
