I stayed here in 2011 when my business first had me traveling to Long Island. I liked it then and I like it even more now (2021). Excellent, central Long Island location. Ample parking with a Budget Rental car in the Lower lobby. Staff are professional and welcoming. Great choice for business or pleasure.

9.28.2021 – 11:25 eastern time – I was unable to reach my husband by his cell number and called the front desk to ring his room. He is working in the area serving residents who were victim to Hurricane Ida and has had many very long days and nights in addition he is a hard sleeper. Nevertheless, I needed to reach him. I called the front desk and asked for the young lady to ring his room. I have his full name and room number. She refused. I explained who I was and just asked to ring his room phone. She refused and said I must call his cell. I said I’ve done that and just asking her to ring the room. Refused, got loud with me and became belligerent. I asked if she would call and/or do a well check, at least, and she REFUSED! I then became upset because I’m concerned that I can’t reach him and she wouldn’t even call or check. Stating it is hotel policy to not inform callers who is in the hotel. I was asking for the room number just to ring the room. I’ve searched and could not find said hotel policy. I am 18 hours away. There is no way for me to check on him myself but yet your staff have no heart to even call for a well check. IF this is really a hotel policy I suggest it be changed and get new staff that know how to sympathize and talk to people. I’ll be there in a few days to express my disappointment in person.

PARKING REASONABLE….HOSPITALITY ON A SCALE OF 1-10 I RATE IT A 4…… I asked for a wake up call in the morning seems like they totally forgot , cleanliness 8 out of 10 Karma I don’t like to have to finally get to my room unwind and have to get housekeeping to come and clean the bathroom , seems like certain employees and I am not talking about housekeeping do not know how to multitasking. Again not bad for A-ONE nighter, but make sure you sure you check your room before anything….THANKS !!! UNTIL NEXT TIME

Staff are friendly and the room is reasonably clean. Incentives are free parking and decent breakfast choices. But I’d stayed at nicer Holiday Inn Express and was expecting Hyatt to be a more upscale hotel than this place. Nothing to compliant but I just can’t see how I can give better than 3 stars rating.

We stayed here after our wedding on 08/06/21. The rooms were very clean and staff was very friendly. They let us use the outside patio to keep our wedding party going. Very happy with my stay.

I stayed here for a long time and I can not say enough good things about this hotel, to start with the staff, it was a great staff, Reggie was amazing and so were Michelle, Gosia, Caroline and the rest of them were all great. The breakfast is excellent, always freshly made breakfast and tastes good too. The location is great because it has Whole Foods Market right across and Traders Joe’s is right there too. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

We just had our wedding guests stay here from 08/05/21 – 08/07/21 for our wedding. We worked with Raul and Debra they both took very good care of us the day before our wedding and the day after. They gave us a great group rate and all of my guests were happy. My wife was able to do her makeup thanks to them providing a conference room. Rooms were very clean and breakfast was great. Its nice to be staying at a hotel which wants to make the best of your stay. If you are looking for a hotel group rates call this place amazing service!!

This hotel was perfect for my stay. Well lit outside, enough parking, very clean rooms and foyer plus a great breakfast to get us going for the day. The staff were all pleasant and seemed as if they really enjoyed working there. Very attentive. A great experience overall.

I actually like this hotel even though we live only 4 miles away. We rent out rooms for birthday parties all the time here. It’s easy and you don’t have to worry about the kids breaking anything. Plus they can use the pool and the room for changing and watching movies.

Horrible, Horrible experience, not what I expected from their photos, quite the opposite. Traveled with my family for my niece funeral who passed away suddenly. Had to change rooms, because of mold on the ceilings, then got a room where the beds were small and lumpy as well getting crying baby half the night in the next room. This location did not honor my request for a handicap assistance room, not to mention they took their concession stand way because someone broke the coffee dispensers. Also found out this hotel is housing the homeless. I guess besides of this COVID-19, why no breakfast is served, they didn’t want to foot the cost of feeding these displaced families. So, we all know to well who’s footing that bill, while actual paying guest, unfortunately, like myself are picking up the extra cost, while not getting the service we Paid for. This is not the experience, I was expecting after coming back to NY after 14 yrs and the experience I wanted my 12 yr grandchild have for the rest if her birthday celebration and first time being in NY…..

Dirty and horrible service. Fire alarm went off at 2am and woke up my kids. Tub and towels and all the linen is old and stained. No clean towels when requested. Door didn’t lock after being out all day thank God my stuff wasn’t stolen. Do not recommend. This is overpriced for quality and service.

Spent the weekend here and we were very pleased! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. As Diamond members we were easily upgraded to a king deluxe room. The room was SO spacious! We have traveled all over the country and this hotel room had by far one of the most spacious bathrooms of a Hilton! The dual vanities were great. The room was very open and well maintained. The breakfast staff were great and the made to order breakfast staton was a plus! The menu was limited but fresh and tasty! Would stay here again!

First off, the check in is way too late in the day. (Between 3pm and 12am) Next the water pressure was awful in the shower. & Lastly, the suite had wet carpeting at the front door the entire time we were there. I complained to the man at the desk the first night, and he promised someone would work on it the next morning and if it wasn’t resolved, he would move us to a different room. Nothing was ever done. My toddler and grandmother had a few slips on tile portion of the room. This was above all such a safety issue for us! We all had wet soaked socks the entire time, not to mention the room smelled like urine when the temperature was “too warm”. When we left, it left all of our clothes smelling like this as well. The key card wouldn’t let us in at night, & the bathroom had no vent making it a slippery wet space to potentially hurt yourself in. This was not a good experience at all. & we barely spent time in there. We paid lots of money for a suite that was not worth the money. Very very disappointing, seeing as we booked two suites and one king bedroom. Our families won’t ever do business with this chain again if this is how Janus property management keeps their hotels.

I read reviews before booking and they said the hotel was dirty. I thought they were exaggerating, considering the Hilton CleanStay and good experiences with Hilton in the past (I am a Diamond Member)… I was wrong, not at all an exaggeration. The floor was dirty, edges of room look as though it may never be vacuum (room and halls), crumbs, hair, elevator had a strong odor mixed with too much fragrance, hallway ceiling has black spots (mold?), doors have chipping paint, stains on walls, just gross. I asked to be moved to a new room, and it wasn’t much better. There is something in the vent with black spots on it too. Disappointing to say the least. I would suggest heading to a different hotel.

The dining area was not cleaned, hotel has a horrible odor. All the other hotels were book for the days that I stayed. I have owned a janitorial service for 18 years and this hotel was not even above average. Especially for the price that they are asking for. Either change your pricing or update the hotel. I won’t be staying again.

What an amazing store. I am decorating a new space and was looking for a get Target with a ton of homeware. If that’s your case head to this store. Not only that but one of the managers,Andrew is wonderful. He is kind and diligent. He clearly encourages his team to be as well because everyone there is so great. I can’t recommend this location enough. Can’t wait to be back

I was helped by a very kind and respectful employee at Order Pickup. He spent about 20ish minutes searching for my item, assuring me that if it wasn’t found I would receive a gift card for the wait. He did end up finding my item but still gave me a $10 gift card. Very good experience even though I am very patient and have no problem waiting, I understand things happen. His name is Godson. Very good employee, deserves good remarks.

Estheticians come and go.. Threats of closing said spa.. renovations galore.. we’ve been here. Always left pleased with services. But lately, we can’t seem to get or appointments right. We schedule ours back to back.. we come in together and leave together. Either they can’t get our names correct.. or they schedule us separately. I normally go with the flow. But it’s happened so frequently that I feel I must say something Today I get a call informing me of our appointments at 2 separate times. Callously offering me a week day if I couldn’t make it. No matter what I said to this young lady. I was met with silence on the other end If anything Nordstrom has prided itself in , is it’s Customer service. Well here, you have failed miserably. After this spa visit . We will very likely not return

You pay for one hour $75 and they put you 30 minutes to soak your feet and 30 minutes for the massage. The woman was way too strong. No opportunity to relax. I left a tip because I know she need it.

I would not recommend. I got a manicure here and the room was a little dirty and dusty and for the price and “Nordstrom” name I would of thought it was going to be a little more high end. I get a better manicure at my whole in the wall nail salon and better service.

I do like zara. They have good selection with good prices. I prefer to have off line shopping for my kids because all the brands have different size despite of they divided and organized by age. However only 3 cashier were working through 2floors on Sunday. The stor manager doesn’t seem to care about consumers to check out. I was in kids section and 5 staffs were there for chatting meanwhile there were 10 people in line to check out in front of cashier.

I’m not sure what it is with Zara, every store I’ve been to the line is ridiculously long like 30 mins to an hour long. And it always looks like a war zone clothes just everywhere. I don’t know why I bother stepping into the stores anymore. If I’m interested in buying something I just buy online. I used to really like Zara years ago. Now it just feels like H&M.

Went to Zara at Garden city on 08-11-21 before noon. The female manager wearing green outfit was very very rude and nasty to a customer. The customer told her that they need to reopen the fitting room to help prevent the long long lines. She told the lady that there is nothing that she can do. She is free to go shop at another store. It is not a must to shop here. I asked her about a price discrepancy. She said there is nothing I can do for u and walked away. I guess she failed to realize that we are the ones paying her salary.

I had a very pleasant experience at the Brighton store in the Roosevelt Field mall. Last week was my first visit at this location and the two associates were very helpful and friendly. I returned this week because I had an issue with the clasp on my bracelet and Kathy the associate working provided excellent customer service addressing my problem. I would definitely return.

I normally love Dave and Busters but my Gods was is PACKED to the gills…. We’re in the middle of the pandemic still so I was very concerned if everything is even getting cleaned. My partner and I went in and left in 3 minutes…. In general I feel like there should be a type of maximum capacity but especially in these concerning times…idk.. As a kid, going to the arcade was something I really enjoyed. At Dave and Busters, you dont need to be a child to have a good time! There are a bunch of great game options, and a spacious layout to accommodate large amounts of people. No wait times for games, and the staff are very eager to please. I will definitely be returing to this location!

So happy to see this place thriving. I know I’m old, but I still love this place. Hot topic used to be a niche store, not cheap but not overpriced. After Disney bought it, i got scared, then the pandemic hit, i got worried. Once malls reopened, this store was always with a line outside. Love the staff, they are “perfectly splendid” as they go about their duties. Great sales in shirts right now too.

I’VE BEEN VISITING THIS LOCATION FOR ABOUT 20 YEARS, & I THINK THIS LOCATION HAS THE BEST SERVICE. I’VE NEVER HAD A BAD WAITER/WAITRESS. EVERY SINGLE MENU ITEM I’VE TASTED WAS DELICIOUS. THE CHEESECAKE & THE REGULAR CAKES ARE ALSO DELICIOUS. MY FAVORITE IS THE CARROT CAKE CHEESECAKE WITH EXTRA PEANUTS ON THE SIDE. HEAVENLY! FRIDAY THRU SUNDAY GET THERE EARLY OR YOU WILL WAIT A PRETTY LONG TIME, BUT USUALLY THE WAIT IS SHORTER THAN THEY ESTIMATE.

I went here last night and I wanted to like it. Right away you realize you can’t hear anyone not even the person across the table from you. If you didn’t want to talk then this place might be for you. Very limited menu!!! I couldn’t hear the waitress so I had to learn to read lips fast. So the wait for dinner after ordering was about 45 minutes. It was long enough for my guests to say did they forget Us. One round of drinks doesn’t last 45 minutes while waiting. Yes our waitress was very busy which was another problem. Finally the food, I had a very bland Philly cheese steak on a very stale baguette with tasteless steak which looked like it came off the kids menu. My son had an enormous fried chicken sandwich which he really liked. My Daughter and wife had burgers again they liked but didn’t finish. The noise made this night one big headache. Try to go during off hours. Avoid the cheese steak but definitely get the chicken sandwich if you like that. Disappointed to say the least since my Daughter joined Us from college and I couldn’t hear a Darn thing she was saying. So why go there? I don’t have an answer. PS we did not stay for cheese cake due to all of our headaches, and a waiter through out my sons chicken sandwich that he wanted to take home. No I didn’t ask him to go get it back. 👎I might go back at a different time of day to give it another chance but only because my Daughter likes the place.

love the food, but there’s always a long wait time for seats. don’t know what kind of bread it is, but the brown bread is absolutely delicious. my favorite dish is the tomato basil pasta, which is usually made very well, depending on the cook. cheesecakes are delicious and reasonably priced ($9.50 for one slice is not bad considering how dense each slice is) food can be expensive but honestly not badly priced as a $16.50 pasta dish can provide me with 2 full meals.

Hope my pictures give people a taste of this awesome store! Not only is it clean and eclectic, but it is also filled with personal touches like these pictures of customers and employees. I don’t know what was better? The service or the education I got? Nicky and Ilene are the definition of kindness and professionalism. When I used my hair mask this morning I thought of them and had to finally write a review…since sadly I have the time. I look forward to visiting again when the mall opens its doors again. (If you’re a local it’s worth visiting just to see their bike!)
